Wrapped in innocence; deep, the belief,
Eyes blind-folded, a heart that refuses to see,
Trust broken, heartache to commence,
The hope you harbor, might be your undoing again.

    unfold the blindfolds and open the eyes
    take off the cover from the lies
    living in refusal is not wise

    A trusting heart, the cause of all misery,
    A hope remains; object - however unworthy.

    Wisdom takes flight, eyes repent,
    The cure - murdering the fluttering fool within.
